We understand that the journey to the Amazon can be long and tiring, which is why we offer airport and/or hotel pick-up service for your convenience. We want to ensure that your trip is as comfortable and stress-free as possible from the moment you arrive.
To reach Macaw Adventures Lodge, we travel by land via car from Iquitos to Nauta, which takes approximately 1.5 hours, and then we navigate by boat through the Marañón River, passing through the confluence of the Marañón, Amazon, and Ucayali Rivers. The boat trip takes an additional hour. Macaw Adventures Lodge is located in the buffer zone of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve in the heart of the jungle, in close proximity to Puerto Miguel.
